Ganapathi Puja

The Ganapathi Puja honours Lord Ganesha — Vighnaharta, the remover of obstacles, and Prathama Pujya, the first among deities to be worshipped at the start of any undertaking. No auspicious activity in the Hindu tradition begins without first invoking Ganesha, for he clears the path, grants wisdom and success, and blesses new beginnings with an auspicious start.
